We are looking for a Founding CEO to take full operational and commercial ownership of the company and lead it through its first institutional fundraising round and early go-to-market.
This role is for a person who has already built, sold, and raised — and is now ready to do it again, with a strong team and investor behind it, on a bigger scale.
The Founding CEO will be the public face of the company, fully responsible for revenue, fundraising, positioning, and execution.
The company has developed an AI-native platform for turning complex, unstructured “glossy” documents into semantic intelligence at enterprise scale. It has a 7-person core team with 2 years of proven collaboration and a production-ready technology stack.
The core product is being built as an “AI-native Palantir”, designed from day one for speed, flexibility, and scale, with clear expansion paths into compliance/AML, legal due diligence, insurance, healthcare, and regulatory intelligence.
Core Responsibilities
1. Business & Revenue
- Take full responsibility for building early revenue (B2B, enterprise-oriented).
- Define and execute the go-to-market strategy.
- Personally lead key customer conversations, pilots, and early contracts.
- Translate a complex product into a clear commercial narrative.
2. Fundraising and Investor Relations
- Lead seed fundraising with support from an existing investor.
- Own investor materials and process.
- Use early investor feedback to refine positioning and strategy.
- Manage investor relations after closing the seed and subsequent rounds.
3. Leadership & Ownership
- Act as true CEO, not an executor under supervision.
- Build and lead the leadership team (CPO, CMO etc.) over time.
- Take full responsibility for results.
4. External Representation
- Be the public and external face of the company:
- Investors
- Partners
- Media / events (when relevant)
- Investors
- Comfortable with visibility, storytelling, and representing the company at a high level.
Key Expectations
- Previous experience as a founder or CEO of a B2B company.
- Has raised external capital at least once successfully.
- Strong B2B sales background, ideally enterprise or complex products.
- Able to sell vision + execution, not just features.
- Comfortable with frequent travels to London
- Fluent English; international mindset.
Important:
A deep technical background is not required, but the CEO must be able to understand and explain the underlying technology at a conceptual level.
Location & Time Commitment
- Remote, full-time
Equity & Compensation
- Significant equity participation, up to ~35% before the seed round, depending on profile and outcomes.
- Executive option pool (~10%) reserved for future leadership hires.
- Competitive salary for the current stage of the company.
What Success Looks Like (12 Months)
- A clear, repeatable B2B GTM motion.
- Strong positioning for long-term scale in at least one industry.
- Successfully closed institutional funding round.
- Executive team is fully built out.
